Bluesound Powernode Edge Wireless Music Streamer Overview
Simply connect a pair of passive speakers to the Bluesound Powernode Edge Wireless Music Streamer for an outstanding all-in-one HiFi solution.
The Bluesound POWERNODE EDGE’s sleek, space-saving design makes it ideal for smaller rooms, offices, or even outdoor spaces like patios. Comparable in size to a standard hardcover book, it fits neatly into any corner without compromising on sound quality. The included wall-mount bracket allows for easy installation in tight spaces, whether in a closet or behind a sofa.
Control is straightforward with the BluOS app or the intuitive capacitive touch panel, and for smart home enthusiasts, it integrates seamlessly with popular control systems and voice assistants like Siri and Alexa.
Connectivity
Wired sources such as TVs or turntables can be easily connected through HDMI eARC or the combo analogue/digital input. For added bass, pair it with the PULSE SUB+ Wireless Subwoofer, creating a compact yet powerful 2.1 stereo system. Alternatively, the POWERNODE EDGE can power the rear channels of a wireless Bluesound surround sound system. Through the BluOS Controller App, users can select music from popular streaming services like Spotify, Tidal, and Qobuz, or play tracks from their own library via Apple AirPlay 2, aptX HD Bluetooth, or a network-connected drive.
It has the EDGE
Despite its compact size, the POWERNODE EDGE is powered by a 2 x 40 watts Direct Digital amplifier, delivering punchy and precise sound. It handles high-resolution audio, including 24-bit/192kHz files and MQA-encoded tracks, with exceptional clarity. Whether it’s the complex layers of a heavy metal track or the subtle dialogue in films, the Bluesound Powernode Edge Wireless Music Streamer excels. It also decodes Dolby Digital content, making it perfect for home theatre systems where it can power rear channel speakers wirelessly.

Bluesound is an award-winning wireless and multiroom system that supports Hi-Res audio. Bluesound aims to give you high-quality sound and, to do so, they have designed an operating system called BluOS which is sophisticated, yet easy to use. BluOS supports music streaming services such as Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz and Deezer and it can support up to 64 players to fill your home with quality sound. Additionally, Bluesound allows you to play your music through Bluetooth from your tablet, PC or smartphone, from NAS drive (Network Attachable Storage) or USB drive.
Bluesound offers a range of streamers, wireless speakers and a CD Ripper that rips your CDs, stores them and later serves them to any devices on your network.
Bluesound systems connect using your home’s Wi-Fi network or hard-wire through Ethernet cable to the router. You can then control the system using the BluOs Controller App for Android, iOS or desktop.
