The ideal after-market solution for the termination of any speaker cable. Adaptable Chord z-plug design that will connect to all types of speaker and amplifier.
Easy to use. Cable can be secured to the plug using screw or solder. Each kit contains: 4 x 4mm speaker plugs 2 x red covers & 2 x black covers.
Remove approximately 120mm of outer jacket from the cable to expose the conductors. Fit Chord Company trousers as required, ensuring the arrow is pointing in the correct direction.
Strip the end of each conductor so that approximately 8mm (3/8th inch) of bare conductor is exposed.
Undo the grubscrew and push the bare cable end into the recess at the rear of the connector. Tighten grubscrew on to the bare conductor until cable is securely held in place.
The speaker plug is provided with a colour coded cap. These are simply screwed into place to provide easy identification of positive and negative speaker cables.
Proceed through step 1 and step 2.
At the amplifier, twist the positive conductors together and the two negative conductors together.
Proceed with step 3.
